The judging process

A judge is nominated for each of the Award categories. The judge is considered to be an industry/sector specialist.

  • All entries are first reviewed and scored by a member of the Winsemius Awards Committee, a member of the DutchCham Management Board and a third independent reviewer.
  • Based on these scores, 3 shortlisted entries will be reviewed by the dedicated judges for final evaluation.
  • The shortlisted entry with the highest scores from the judges will be declared the winner of the Award. In the event two finalists have equal scores, a judge from another industry will review and re-score the submissions in order to declare the winner.

Transparent information on the selecting members and the dedicated judges will be revealed when available.

If a committee member has a connection with or represents a nominated company/individual then he/she is excluded from discussions on submissions for the relevant categories.

The results remain confidential until the DutchCham Winsemius Awards Gala Dinner on 23rd of March 2017 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
