Our Member GESS, short for German European School Singapore, has been offering Dutch Mother Tongue classes from Grade 1 to 12 for a while. For their senior students in higher grades they have initiated a new programme, the Dutch Corporate Talks @ GESS and call for native Dutch speakers from the Corporate World in Singapore to come into class next academic year to support the children’s efforts to master the language and broaden their horizons. The aim is to build a pool of speakers from different industries and career paths, who would come to campus for casual talks on their respective field of expertise, to share insights and engage in discussions with the students.
