What to expect and learn
Indulge in the tropical farming, learn during the guided tour and experience while enjoying the 60 min workshops on making ‘Heritage Asian Salad’ and ‘Nature’s Pharmacy’ and have social distancing drinks with canapes at the end! All offered at Bollywood cost prices of 80SGD.

Covid restrictions
As we will be attending a professional workshop at Bollywood Veggies, they are allowed to have a max. of 50 people, During this afternoon we will be attending a professional workshop brought to you by Bollywood Veggies. This means they can bring together a maximum of 50 people (social distance rules apply). This means tables will be divided in teams of 5. The usual safe management guidelines apply i.e. at least 1m distancing between individuals/tables, no intermingling, individually served, disinfection, etc. You will also be asked to check-in when entering the venue. You can rest assured that we will take all the precautionary measures to make this a social-distanced event.
Workshop
There will be two workshop options at 4.00 pm, both with a duration of 60 minutes.
Option 1: Heritage Asian Salads
Asian salads are extremely underrated in local cuisine. Revive our culinary heritage and learn how to make healthy and delicious heritage salads such as nasi ulam, som tam, rojak and more. These salads will be adapted to use fresh local farm greens, herbs, wild leaves and edible flowers that can be grown easily at home. Participants will learn the health and taste profiles of different components but will not be bounded by a recipe – they will work collaboratively to create delectable dishes!
Option 2: Nature’s Pharmacy
Join Medicine Woman Asia Ajuntha Anwari on a exploratory journey of traditional and indigenous health and medicine. This sensory journey on plant and food-based natural healing draws from millennia of wisdom, distilled for even the busiest and most skeptical urban folks. Traditions such as Jamu, TCM, Ayurveda and more will be covered. Discover simple and rejuvenating teas and tonics for everyday health and vitality. Tea and tonic making and tasting included.
Canapés and drinks
Savoury: Mini Otah Toasts, Mini Farm Mushroom and Onion Puffs, Farm Tempura
Sweet: Kueh Bingka (Tapioca cake), Warm Banana Cake, Mini Sago with Gula Melaka and Coconut Cream
Drinks: two vouchers will be included for one home made juice and one alcoholic drink.

Location
We will arrange a bus dropping off at Tan Kah Kee MRT on the way back as it might be difficult to find a taxi.
Tickets
The ticket price is SGD 80,-. This includes the tour around Bollywood, the workshop, the drinks and snacks. Should you wish to make use of the bus transport on the way back this will cost an additional SGD8 – SGD10. Payment will be done at Bollywood on the day itself.
