Last week MoM announced, that starting on May 1, spouses and family members of those working in Singapore who hold Dependant’s Passes (DP) will need to obtain a work pass in order to work here after the expiry of their current Letter of Consent (LoC).
As we wait for further information and guidance, we would like to organise a Dialogue Session together with Marjolein Oyen-Driesens (President of the Board ADB-DutchCham), Ingrid Klaassens (Executive Director ADB-DutchCham) and Hajo Provó Kluit (Deputy Head of the Netherlands Embassy).
We would be interested in hearing from our (corporate) members about their concerns and the possible consequences for their business due to these changes to the LoCs in Singapore. The ADB-DutchCham has a strong network in Singapore and is well placed to provide feedback on the proposed changes on behalf of our members if required.
Date: Monday 15th of March, 2021
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 PM
Location: Virtual Session – you will receive a Teams-link after registration.
RSVP: Please register via the link below.
Please feel free to share your initial thoughts on the impact this may have on your business operating in Singapore prior to the session. You can do this via email (Ingrid Klaassens) or if you prefer, we can arrange a brief call to discuss.
The Netherlands Embassy to Singapore is a strategic partner of ADB-DutchCham, and offers advice and support to the ADB-DutchCham in its mission to support and connect the Dutch business community in Singapore.
