Jadranko Dovic is Managing Director of VDL Enabling technologies Group Singapore Pte. Ltd., a first tier contract manufacturing company serving the semiconductor-, LED- and analytical equipment market with complex mechatronic and vacuum system-modules. For the critical to quality make parts of these systems, VDL ETG Singapore runs an in house state of the art manufacturing operation of 5-axis machining, frame welding and precision (robot-)welding for vacuum parts. Together with the purchased components by the supply chain management department, these make parts are assembled in cleanrooms into complete systems, which will be tested and qualified before shipment to the customer.
Typical size of VDL ETG Singapore is over €100M annual turnover, currently operated by more than 500 employees.
After graduating Mechatronic Engineering at Technical University Eindhoven, Jadranko started his career as mechatronic developer at Philips Research. In 2001 he moved outside Philips to a production equipment manufacturer for optical media (CD/DVD/BluRay), which was acquired by VDL in 2005. In 2008 Jadranko shifted internal VDL to VDL ETG, as MD responsible for the P&L of the prototyping factory. Since Jan 1 st 2016 Jadranko embarked on his current position of MD in Singapore.
