Maxim has been with The Gap Partnership since 2021 as a Senior Negotiation Consultant and Regional Client Director, training and advising over 900 professionals from 140+ companies globally. He has worked with more than 50 cultures, analyzing over 3000 negotiations. His career blends entrepreneurship and commercial roles in multinational companies like Heineken and Shell. Maxim franchised a vitamin supplement business in 2013, founded a hospitality concept in Amsterdam in 2017, and brought to market a consumer tech product business from ideation to production in 2018, leading to an investment pitch on TV show Dragon’s Den in 2020. Maxim holds a BSc in Natural and Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a two-year Master’s in Management from ESCP Business School in Paris, London, and included a semester at Singapore Management University. A native Dutch speaker, he is fluent in English and learning French and Portuguese. Based in Singapore with his family, Maxim enjoys sports, travelling, crosscultural negotiation, and behavioural psychology. He loves to meet new people, and his ability to make personal connections enhances his commercial creativity and interdisciplinary business thinking.
