As the partner of two innovative alcoholic beverage brands (Southern Jungle & Ollie Brands) and a plant-based vegan ice cream line (Mrs Plumps), he brings creativity and strategic vision to every venture.
In addition to his FMCG accomplishments, Yadhaven founded a wellness company (COLD PLUNGE SG) offering unique services such as ice immersion, yoga, breathwork, and sound baths, blending his passion for wellness with his entrepreneurial expertise to create impactful and transformative experiences.
Barbara Fritschy
Barbara, founder and creative director of the award-winning Make Room interior design studio, has been shaping spaces since 2011. Originally from the Netherlands, Barbara’s global journey took her through corporate finance roles in Switzerland and Australia, before diving into entrepreneurship in Singapore. Beyond design, Barbara has launched multiple ventures, including retail, customized rugs, creating online courses (Style Lab), and art curation (Curated by Make Room). Her entrepreneurial journey is fuelled by boundless creativity and a passion for innovation.
Barbara, a mother of three, balances her family life with an active, fitness-focused lifestyle. Whether she’s training for Hyrox, playing tennis, biking or practicing yoga, she finds energy in staying active. Her creative spirit also flourishes through her love for art and theatre. Always brimming with fresh ideas, Barbara continues to inspire as a dynamic, multi-faceted entrepreneur.
James Sun
His track record includes facilitating successful fundraising efforts, scaling multiple businesses across various industries, building highly functional teams across multiple locations all showcasing his ability to drive growth in competitive markets.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, James contributed significantly to Blackstone’s real estate and Private Equity portfolio expansion in Asia, leveraging his deep understanding of the region’s growth capital markets. His experience in China, where he spent a decade, proved instrumental in establishing Microsoft’s first offshore team in Shanghai, highlighting his cross-cultural leadership skills and ability to navigate complex international business environments.
In his spare time, James is an active “Girl Dad” to his 5yo and soon to arrive second baby girl. He is an avid supporter of the Knicks, Yankees, 49ers and his claim to fame was a loss to an 18yo Andy Roddick.
Tim van Vliet
Tim is a former start-up founder who has lived through the start-up cycle several times – from ideation and building teams to raising funds and exits in a very diverse range of industries. From selling office furniture to milk and farming insects as a source of protein, Tim has truly been around the entrepreneurial block.
Today, Tim uses this experience to build corporate ventures in the energy transition space at Engie Factory. Tim’s career in entrepreneurship and corporate enterprise has brought him a wide range of high highs and low lows, amounting to a wealth of experience he is open to share with the audience.
