We are pleased to invite our Orange C-level Members to an online session: Digital Transformation post COVID-19 – hosted by Digital Innovator: Wouter Crul from Royal HaskoningDHV.
In this online session Wouter Crul will explore scenarios on how the focus of digital transformers, in all functions and levels of an organization, could and should change as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. This will range from changing consumer behaviours as a result of the COVID-19 crisis to supply chain resilience and ramp-up planning to impact on how companies will organize digital innovation. Crul doesn’t promise a crystal ball but he aims to develop a better sensing ability to see opportunities where digital transformation is ready to make a real impact so we can get a better understanding of the needed digital transformation investments.
Background & Content
“As part of our preparations for 2020 and the launch of our new business line RHDHV Digital, we interviewed Chief Digital Officers across different industries to understand their priorities and challenges. Besides quite a common set of priorities, which we will share in the session, there were also common performance challenges across most companies building up for Digital Transformation programs. Interesting proof-of-concepts were being executed, often in collaboration with other companies or start-ups. Despite the progress, lasting impact on customer experience, improved products and services and process excellence results from Digital programs were often falling short of expectations.
In these turbulent times of the COVID-19 crisis and the resulting ‘new normal’, there are some clear digital winners for whom this crisis turns into a growth opportunity and likewise there are companies who are struggling for survival. In many instances, digital is seen as a key enabler to grasp these market opportunities and to improve business resilience in the face of future disruptions”.
