Why Facebook buys HDB Rooftop Solar – The renewable Energy Landscape in Asia

On behalf of the Sustainability Community we would like to invite you for a series of three Sustainability for Breakfast sessions. These sessions will take place in person, in small groups of eight. 

In this first Sustainability For Breakfast session, we will discuss:

• The trends in Asia’s renewable energy markets, such as the rise of corporate buyers, shifting policy landscape
• Regulatory & financial roadblocks that remain
• Facts & Fables on renewable energy
• How rooftop solar changes the power landscape

This session will be particularly relevant for leaders responsible for sustainability goals, or green finance. This session will take place in person at the office of ADB-DutchCham. We have only seven seats available, so availability is on a first come first serve basis. 

About the speaker

Vincent Bakker has over 10 years of experience in energy investments. As group controller & corporate finance he oversees all financials and investments of Entoria Energy, a renewable energy developer & investor active in South-East Asia and Latin America. Before Entoria, Vincent worked for Royal Dutch Shell in Kazakhstan and Singapore, and founded Positive Energy, a digital renewable energy investment platform.
