With a law enforcement background during his tenure with the Singapore Police Force, Noel is experienced in the fields of negotiation, mediation, diplomacy and problem-solving in complex and sensitive matters. For his dedication to law enforcement and contributions to the Force and country, Noel was bestowed with awards such as the Commander’s Award and Best Frontline Officer Award for rendering distinguished professional service to high-level cases as well as active contribution of proactive arrests for public safety and national security.
As a practising lawyer, Noel is actively involved with the chambers of commerce and organisations with emphasis on mentorship, not-for-profit and diplomacy. From a business standpoint, he sits on various Boards with strong focus on cross-border business development such as the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and the Central and Eastern Europe Chamber of Commerce. From a not-for-profit standpoint, he sits on the Board of the Special Olympics Singapore as well as a private Foundation focusing on education, medical research and hospitals in Singapore and around Southeast Asia. He also advises the Royal Commonwealth Society Singapore and the Singapore Global Network on legal and non-legal matters. He has a keen interest in developing business synergies across different jurisdictions to bring about a win-win situation for clients and business partners.
