We are seeking a highly motivated Events and Membership Engagement Manager to lead the planning and execution of our events portfolio while driving membership growth and retention. This role is pivotal in strengthening relationships with existing members, attracting new stakeholders, and enhancing the Chamber’s visibility as a hub for Dutch-Singaporean business collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Events Management
• Design, plan, and execute high-quality events (e.g., networking sessions, seminars, trade delegations, cultural celebrations) aligned with DutchCham’s strategic goals.
• Manage end-to-end logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, budgeting, marketing, and post-event evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and sponsors to ensure events deliver value to members and stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends to innovate event formats and enhance attendee engagement.
Membership Engagement
• Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and grow DutchCham’s membership across corporate, SME, and individual tiers.
• Build strong relationships with members through communities, with regular communication, personalized outreach, and tailored support.
• Conduct member surveys and feedback sessions to identify needs, improve services, and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee membership onboarding, renewals, and database management
(CRM).
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with the Dutch Embassy, Singaporean business associations, and regional Chambers of Commerce to co-host events and initiatives.
• Liaise with industry leaders, government agencies, and sponsors to secure partnerships and funding opportunities. Communications & Reporting
• Work with the communications team to promote events and membership benefits via newsletters, social media, and the DutchCham website.
• Track KPIs (e.g., event attendance, membership growth, retention rates) and prepare reports for leadership.
Budget Management
• Manage budgets for events and membership programs, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in event management and membership engagement, preferably within a Chamber of Commerce, trade organization, or international business environment.
• Proven ability to design and execute successful B2B events (virtual and inperson).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems, event platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strategic thinker with project management expertise and a results-driven mindset.
Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of Dutch and Singaporean business cultures.
• Experience in digital engagement tools (e.g., LinkedIn campaigns, webinars).
• Existing network within the Dutch-Singaporean business community.
